Here is a better map showing the location of the state of Sikkim. As you can see, Sikkim shares its borders with Tibet to the north, Bhutan to the east, Nepal to the west and the state of West Bengal (India) to the south. (Click on the map below to enlarge it.)

India 2018

It's back to India to teach neuroscience to a group of Tibetan Buddhist monastics!  This September I will travel to Gangtok (Sikkim, India).  So, it's time to review my slides and gather supplies for the trip.

The last time I went to India I got a multiyear visa, so there is no struggling with the visa application this time.
