I had a new visitor to my room that had less than 8 legs last night: this one only had 4 legs. I had just returned to my room after an evening presentation by monks who taught older monks about neurons and neurotransmission. I surprised a small lizard when I turned on the light. The lizard froze for long enough for me to take its picture. Then it ran under my bed where I left it alone. I am hoping that my new friend will take care of any smaller "friends" it encounters.By the way, the monks did a great job with their presentation by constructing a neuron model similar to the one I showed them two years ago.
