It has been noticeably cooler in Sherabling this week. Last week the days were very warm and the evenings were pleasant too. This week, the mornings and evenings are quite cold; too cold to go out with a jacket. Daytime temperatures are still warm (70s).The cold night made it even worse when we tried to get back to the guesthouse. The gate from the monastery trail was locked after an evening class. Shouting for help from beyond the gate did not help.
Instead, we decided to make our way through the forest, around the medicinal garden and up the stairs to the guesthouse. The walk through the forest was a bit unnerving because we could not see much even with a flashlight.
