The journey has started. The most dangerous part of the trip -- driving on the freeway to the airport -- has been completed. SeaTac airport is crowded as usual, but my check-in at the Emirates Airlines desk went very quickly and the security line via TSApre took only 7 minutes. The 14-hour trip to Dubai, 3-hour layover, and then another 3.5-hour flight to Delhi awaits. It is Sunday afternoon now; I arrive in Delhi at 2 am on Tuesday.
